What comes to mind when you think of Greece?  Greek Islands, blue domed white churches, turquoise waters and great food are quintessentially Greek images.

When I think of Greece it reminds me of trips to see my family, great food and olive oil.  We'd go to see my family, all of whom lived on Sofouli Street.  My mother grew up in House No. 7.  My yia yia would walk down from the markets every morning with fresh bread and Kasseri cheese, we'd take a break from soccer for a snack while my aunts and uncles worked the fields.  Around 2pm, when the fields were too hot, we'd gather for a feast.

Every Greek I know in America "has a guy."  That is, someone who brings them the best olive oil direct from the source, Greece.  Most commercial olive oil is passed as "Products" of other countries and often blended with substandard oils and sold as EVOO.
